Hmmmm.....

Sorry it has been soooooooooo long but I've been busy........... throwing up! Didn't want to come to the library and throw up on their computers. :-) So... we have been working on our house. We still have a long way to go. Like tooooo much work to get done before Mid-August! Not sure how we are going to do it!!!! Of course when you are working on an old house and start to tear things out, you discover things you wish you hadn't; like two of the beams under the house that have termite damage and will have to be replaced -- makes you wonder how many more damaged beams we will find. Hopefully these two are the only ones. Also there are floor joists that have termite damage. I was thinking we would have a bathroom, bedroom, family room and the Kitchen! remodeled by the end of May but that may not happen cause it is going to take some work to get those beams replaced, etc. Ah well, such is life. We will make it somehow. We do have the new bathtub/shower units but unfortunately they will remain sitting on the screened in porch for some time. I, who rarely took baths, can hardly wait till we have a bathtub, since all we have is a shower!!!! When you only have a small shower it really makes you long for a bathtub. :-) Well, I really need to go I have to run to the grocery store and to the tractor store and go home so we can rearrange the house again. We need to move half of my kitchen stuff to the other TINY half of the kitchen and into the dining room so Matthew can tear that area out so he can get those beams replaced. Which also means that the area that has been my living room won't be accessible and neither will the laundry without having to go out the front door and around the house. Gotta go!







Oh, yeah, for those of you who are wondering .... we are expecting and due in September on the 24th. No, we don't know if it is a boy or a girl and No, we are not going to find out. I know that makes it difficult for my sisters but.... We really prefer to be surprised! As to names.... we haven't thought about that yet. My sister-in-law thinks we probably won't come up with a name till the baby is born. :-) She may be right. Bye-Bye for now!
